One ask, one answer, and the whole phone unlocks for exactly as long as you choose.
Easylock replaces the flood of "ask for more time" requests with one simple exchange. When your child's apps lock, they can ask you once. You answer from anywhere. Everything on their phone unlocks at once, for as long as you decided, and locks itself again when the time runs out.
Questions, problems or ideas: frischa@avifrischlaw.com. Please include which phone the problem is on, the parent's or the child's, and what you saw on screen.
Which phone do I set up first? The parent's. Choose "This is a parent's phone", tap "Create a family", then "Add a child's phone" for step-by-step instructions.
My child says they can't ask for more time. That's the asking limit. By default a child gets one ask each time the phone locks. Change it on the child's phone under Settings, "Asking for more time".
Can my child delete the app? Not if the child's phone was set up with "Allow Screen Time (child in Family Sharing)". Apple then requires a parent's Apple Account password to remove it. Also turn off "Deleting Apps" under Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Can two parents answer? Yes. On the second parent's phone choose "This is a parent's phone", then "Join family" with the same family code.
